  Are we all missing the true 'MARK' of the Wild Beast?

  disclaimer: hubby & i have been watching a 5 dvd documentary on the 'secret's of the founding father's' we're not sure if we believe everything they talk about but here is some interesting things to think about..... revelation mentions that the 'mark' would either be on the forehead, [for everyone to see] or, on the right hand [if you make a fist, it is hidden] rev also says that no one can buy or sell without this mark.

  the wtbt$ isn't too clear on what they believe that mark is, so.... what is one thing that we cannot buy or sell without?.

  money!.

  If you're unable to make LDS doctrine clear, it's either because you're not up to the task of making it clear or the doctrines themselves make no sense.

  I told you on another thread that arguments from your holy books are not acceptable to me as proof of anything. Despite repeated requests from me, you still insist on quoting huge chunks of the Bible, Book of Mormon, and other Mormon pubs. I'm an atheist. I don't give a good god-damn about what your books say. The very first thing you have to prove to me is the existence of God. Can you do that or not?

  did you find jws more productive than non-jws and more honest and outgoing for your business expansion?

  the watchtower tries to state that jws are in high demand because of their honesty, you think the world is smarting up and realizing they are just regular people who follow men?

  When he was 18, my younger brother, at my dub mother's urging, took a construction job working for a dub at our KH. My brother was routinely forced by his dub boss to lift loads that were too heavy for him.

  After several months, my brother developed back pain and was forced to quit over the strenuous objections of my mother.

  Result? Permanent damage to his lower back. It's now been more than 40 years' of suffering for him, thanks to a compassionate dub employer.

  Not one member of my immediately family has escaped long-term injury, either physical or emotional or both, not even my mother, that has directly resulted from the loving association of our christian "brothers."

  The "Flood" in Noah's day--why wasn't that Armageddon enough?

  the great day of god the almighty certainly is a fit description for the destruction of men, women, children, grandmothers, infants and puppy dogs in the days of noah.. why didn't destroying everybody on earth except a remnant of 8 count as armageddon?.

  i mean, if you are starting all over by genocide--shouldn't it count for more than bad temper?.

  what are we missing?.

  But even after the dubs and exdubs who remember those infamous predictions die off, how on earth is the gb going to manipulate the scriptures to make the "math" come out right?

  There aren't enough scriptures in the Bible to make any WTS's Armageddon due date make any sense.

  But perhaps I'm underestimating their ability to formulate lies and their followers' willingness to believe them.
